Pensaba en poner en el árbol de navidad algo diferente este año.

Eucalipto

Es uno de los árboles que crecen más rápido en el mundo. "Eu" y "kalypto" son palabras de origen griego que significa "bueno" y "cubierta" y se refieren a la forma de la fruta, donde las semillas de eucalipto se guardan.

Me gusta el aroma de su fruto. Se dice que despeja la mente, mejora la concentración, estimula y limpia, es un soplo de aire fresco y evoca espacios abiertos.

One of the fastest growing trees in the world. "Eu" and "kalypto" words of Greek origin meaning "good" and "covered" and refer to the form of fruit, where the eucalyptus seeds are saved.

I like the aroma of the fruit. It is said that clears the mind, improves concentration, stimulates and clears, is a breath of fresh air and evokes open spaces.

Un día, no hace mucho, un hombre que estaba apoyado en un roble, en un antiguo parque, escuchó lo que el árbol pensó. Los sonidos eran muy curiosos, pero los árboles de roble pueden pensar,  y algunas personas pueden entender lo que dicen.

One day, not long ago, a man who was leaning against an oak, in an old park, listened to what the tree thought. Sounds were very curious, but oak trees can think, as we know, and some people can understand, what these trees say.

Se llama así por el color de sus hojas en otoño. Arbol ornamental con hojas en tonos verdes, rojos y granates. Tiene cinco pequeños pájaros ocultos entre sus hojas.


The red maple gets its name from the red foliage in autumn.
This tree is my artistic version of red maple.

El Arbol de las Cigüeñas

El árbol de las cigüeñas
Este es el árbol favorito de las cigueñas cuando llegan al pueblo a pasar el invierno.
Es un árbol grande y fuerte. Ahora mismo todas las ramas están ocupadas. Hay muchas cigüeñas, y en alguna ocasiones se producen pequeñas fricciones, pero sin importancia. Por ejemplo, todo el mundo piensa que los que viven en el nido más alto, son un poco arrogantes y miran por encima del hombro a los demás. El de 3A siempre está cotilleando con los del  1B, y molestan a los del 2B y 1A, el cual no permite subir a su pareja al nido, ya que siempre se va de juerga y llega tarde. Pero en el fondo, todos se llevan bien.


The Tree of Storks
This is the preferred tree for storks when they come to village to spend the winter.
It's a huge and strong tree, and now, all branches are occupied. There are many, and sometimes there are some small frictions but unimportant. For example, everyone thinks that those who live in the nest higher, are a little cocky and they look over his shoulder to the others. The 3A's are always chattering with the 1B, and they annoy to 2B and 1A, which does not leave goes up your partner to the nest, because it is always partying and arrives late. But deep down , they get along.

El manzano de Newton

Esta es mi versión del manzano de Newton.

Según cuenta la historia popular, Newton estaba sentado bajo un manzano, cayó sobre su cabeza una manzana y de repente pensó en la Ley de la Gravitación universal. :)

This is my artistic version of Newton's apple.

There is a popular story, Newton was sitting under an apple tree, an apple fell on his head, and he suddenly thought of the Universal Law of Gravitation.

El otoño en un broche

El otoño en un broche

Broche de otoño en fieltro, con dos bellotas. Hojas de tonos verde, amarillo y rojo oscuro. Las bellotas son de lana de fieltro con los topes naturales.
El broche mide aproximadamente 10 cms.

Autumn brooch in felt, with two acorns. Leaves are coloured in the range of green, yellow and dark red. Acorns are wool felt with the top natural acorn.

The Brooch measures approximately  4".

Matt es un duende..  Es travieso, divertido y juguetón, casi siempre está de buen humor.
Matt vive en esta enorme haya. Es el guardián del árbol.
Hecho en fieltro, cada hoja está cortada a mano, formando ramas y cosidas al tronco. El duende esta pintado y vestido por mí.


He's mischievous, playful and cheeky, and almost always is in a good mood.
Matt lives in this huge beech. He´s the guardian of the tree.
I made the big beech in felt. Each leaf is cut by hand by me, forming branches and sewn to trunk.
It also has a bench and a swing that can hang in any branch of the tree. Matt, the goblin, is painted and dressed by me.

Mi lugar favorito en el parque.
Grupo de cinco árboles, con un banco y varios pequeños pájaros, en una plataforma de espuma para asegurar la estabilidad.  Medidas: 19,5x14x6,5cm. El conjunto mide de alto 40 cm.



It's a group of five trees on a platform of foam to assure the stability of the set.
I have wanted to depict my favorite place in the park.
Birds, bench, nest and plant belong to the scene and are included.
The dimensions of platform are roughly: 8” x 5,5” x 2,3”.(19,5x14x6,5cm) The set measures 16”(40 cm)high

Bonsai Arce hecho en fieltro. Con maceta también de fieltro y una pequeña seta hecha con fieltro de lana. Recuerda al otoño, sus hojas son de color amarillo, rojo y verde.

Little bonsai maple in felt. It has a little plant pot in felt too. Also has a small mushroom made in wool felt. Reminiscent of autumn, leaves are yellow, red and green color. Cut by hand.

Es el mejor árbol frutal de mi huerta y da unas deliciosas peras rojas. La fruta está hecha con lana de fieltro con la técnica del fieltreado con aguja.

This is my artistic version of a big pear tree.
Is the best fruit tree of my garden and gives a delicious red pears. It has ten on tree and are made with the technique of needle felting.
